Ernie Clement out of the Blue Jays lineup: Injury update announced
The Toronto Blue Jays take on the Milwaukee Brewers this afternoon and the lineup was just announced with Ernie Clement missing once again.
The Blue Jays announce after Clement went down with a hairline fracture that he would be playing through it but it looks like they are taking there time getting him back in the lineup.

Clement has been missing from the Blue Jays lineup ever since he went down with a hairline fracture in his finger last series and while most thought he would be back by now he still is not in the lineup.
Toronto - 3B Ernie Clement (finger) & CF Daulton Varsho (hand) are questionable today versus Milwaukee.

Clement missed yesterday's game as well but was said to be available off the bench if needed which means it will likely be the same situation this afternoon despite him not being in the lineup.
The good news is that as of right now the Blue Jays still have no plan on sending Clement for an IL stint as he is considered day-to-day.
Hopefully the Blue Jays are simply giving Clement a few extra days of rest and will have him in the lineup for the next series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Clement has been great so far this season for the Blue Jays as he has 9 homeruns and 40 RBIs with a .274 batting average and .310 on base percentage in 131 games played this season.
As long as the Blue Jays get him back before the playoffs, there should not be any problems.
