The World Baseball Classic is approaching rapidly and fans can finally get a first look at some of the players that will be on the roster including a couple Toronto Blue Jays.
Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr announced a couple days ago that he will not be playing for team Canada which most fans expected as he will be playing for the Dominican Republic.
First look at Team Canada's roster
The World Baseball Classic is set to kick off on March 5th and the majority of the countries have a good idea of who they will be bringing with them to the event including team Canada.
The list of pitcher that will be joining Canada for the games have been announced which includes Blue Jays prospect Adam Macko and former closer Jordan Romano seems to be a possible addition as well.

The entire roster has not been officially set just yet but it looks like Josh and Bo Naylor along with Abraaham Toro, Tyler O'Neill, Denzel Clarke, Owen Cassie and Freddie Freeman will also be joining as well.
With him and brother Bo Naylor behind the plate, Edouard Julien at second, Otto Lopez at shortstop, Abraham Toro at third, an outfield of Tyler O'Neill, Denzel Clarke and Owen Caissie and Freddie Freeman, health-permitting, aiming to again split time at first base/DH, Canada is poised to field one of the better batting orders it's taken to the Classic. -Nicholson-Smith
Team Canada is far from being favorites to win the WBC but hopefully they can upset a few teams and shock fans putting Canada back on the map as a real threat for years to come.
