Hope he is ok
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo spoke to the media after the game stating that Gurriel's injury does not look good for the moment which means he might be done for the season as well.
Torey Lovullo's update on Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
«I don't think it looks great.»
This is very unfortunate for Gurriel who was having a very solid season in 2025 with 19 homeruns, 80 RBIs, a .248 batting average and .295 on base percentage in 129 games played.
The best season of his career is still from his time with the Blue Jays during the 2021 season where he finished with 21 homeruns, 82 RBIs, a .276 batting average and .319 on base percentage.
The Diamondbacks will likely be giving details on his injury in the next day or so.
