Former Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki just signed a new deal with Texas University to be an assistant coach and hitting coach.
Tulowitzki was a 5 time all-star in the MLB and since retiring began to coach for the Longhorns but stepped away last season. Since the Longhorns coach Jim Schlossnagle left, Tulowitzki decided to return.
According to Texas, Troy Tulowitzki will make a $200K base salary as the UT baseball team's assistant/hitting coach. That is what the Longhorns were set to pay Michael Earley before he took the A&M job.
