This is Young's second stint in Atlanta as he was there for two years in 2022 and 2023 before signing with the New York Mets in 2024.
Last season, Young finished with a 4.32 ERA for the Mets in a total of 8 innings to go along with 13 strikeouts across only 10 games as he missed the majority of the season with an elbow injury.
Young was drafted by the Blue Jays back in the 8th round of the 2015 MLB draft and would stay there until 2019 when he was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Guardians.
During his time with the Blue Jays, Young never made it to the MLB as he would go on to make his major league debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2022.
MLB transactions have been rather quite over the last few days but with the Devon Williams signing last night it looks like things are set to pick back up once again this week.
Hopefully the Blue Jays follow and get a big deal done this week as many are hoping that will either involve Kyle Tucker or Bo Bichette.
