The Toronto Blue Jays have yet to make their first move of the off-season but other teams have already started and a recent move involved one of their ex-pitcher.

The off-season has already seen a few former Blue Jays on the move as Josh Walker was signed by the Baltimore Orioles less than a week ago.

Atlanta Brave claim former Blue Jays pitcher Josh Walker

The Orioles announced last week that they had signed Josh Walker to a major league deal but things took a turn quickly as a couple days later he was designated for assignment.
The Braves then jumped on the chance to acquire him and claimed him off waivers along with a few other moves.
Braves Roster Moves

Atlanta claims two arms from the Orioles:

RHP Carson Ragsdale - 6'8» with strikeout upside, back for a 2nd look after brief DFA stint in ATL

LHP Josh Walker - lefty depth, out of options, must stick on MLB roster

Anthopoulos keeps churning
The Orioles were likely hoping to have Walker slip through the cracks and not have him claimed to clear up a roster spot for a new signing but it looks like the Braves though he was worth the shot.
The #Braves today claimed RHP Carson Ragsdale and LHP Josh Walker off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles.
Walker has had a rough last year bouncing around a few teams but only seeing playing time in the majors with the Blue Jays where he finished with a 7.20 ERA in 5 innings pitched across 3 games.
