The Baltimore Orioles announced that they have designated former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Josh Walker for assignment.

Back in early December, the Braves placed Walker on waivers after he was claimed from Baltimore in which the Orioles then claimed him back off waivers.

Josh Walker designated for assignment once again

Walker has had a brutal off-season so far as he continue to get bounced around on the waiver wire as this is the second time he is designated for assignment by the Orioles in under two months.
The Orioles announced this afternoon that they have designated Walker for assignment only 9 days after claiming back off waivers from the Atlanta Braves. The move was made to clear up space on Baltimore's 40 man roster for newly acquired pitcher Shane Baz.
#orioles announce Shane Baz trade. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP Josh Walker has been designated for assignment. The Orioles' 40-man roster currently has 40 players.
Fans cannot get over than Walker has been once again DFA'd for the third time so far this off-season.
What's the Josh Walker DFA count so far?
There is now a few outcomes that could come from this move, Walker could agree to the assignment and head down to the minors. He could get claimed off waivers by another team or he can refuse the assignment and enter free agency once again.
For players without a guaranteed roster spot, this is unfortunately the norm as they can be dropped in the span of a day if the team is finds a better and more reliable option.
Hopefully if Walker ends up elsewhere, he will finally be able to find himself a permanent home for the rest of the season.
Despite bouncing around quite a few teams over the last year, Walker's last MLB game came with the Blue Jays this season before he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies.
