Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider has been dealing with a lot of backlash since game 5 to the point where many are wondering if he will be fired.

Vernon Wells stated on social media he would love to manager the Blue Jays

After the game, Schneider stood by his choice and stated that not every decision he makes as a manager will be perfect but added that he trusts all of his pitcher equally including Little.
From Saturday evening at Rogers Centre, here's how Blue Jays manager John Schneider reflected upon his bullpen deployment in the 8th inning of Game 5:
Fans have been stating since game 5 that the Blue Jays should look at firing Schneider regardless of how this season turns out and one fan even asked Vernon Wells if he would be willing to take the job.
A manager's job just opened up VW. You available to be in Toronto by Saturday?
Wells ended up answering the fans that he believes Schneider job is secured but did add that he would love to manager since he knows he would be able to do a good job.
John's job is secure and should be but I know I could manage!
The chances of Schneider being fired this season are quite slim especially with how much he exceeded expectations with this roster but he is certainly not the the most loved guy in Toronto right now.
