The ALCS has been a roller coaster, the Toronto Blue Jays came back from 0-2 deficit in the series to the Seattle Mariners, but after a horrible decision by John Schneider in game 5, the Seattle Mariners now have a chance to close out the Blue Jays in game 6.

rather than putting in his best relief pitchers Schneider went to the bottom of the bullpen in Brendon Little, who gave up the lead and lost the Blue Jays the game, and now they are facing elimination.

John Schneider put Brendon Little into a situation he couldn't handle.

Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reported Schneider's decision being torn to shreds on Sportsnet, and it is for good reason, this isn't the first time he has made horrible pitching decisions, even in game 4 he pulled Scherzer earlier than expected, in game 2 against the Yankees he pulled Yesavage from a no-hitter. Studio analyst Joe Siddall was not happy with the decision.
"«I disagree with this move wholeheartedly. You're six outs away from being one game away from going to the World Series. I just have to ask John Schneider why? Why in this instance do you get to this point and go right back to (worrying about) matchups, trying to play that card (to gain) the edge when you're not gaining the edge?"-Siddall

Schneider had an easy decision to make, two innings away from taking a 3-2 series lead heading back to Toronto and he doesn't put one of his best relief pitchers in to close it out for you.
Little was put into a situation he could not handle and it showed, and now the Blue Jays have their backs against the wall.
"Guest panellist and former Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar was fired up to chime in on that notion after watching home run king Cal Raleigh, the first batter Little faced, take him deep."-Longley

Schneider cannot make anymore mistakes going forward, the only issue is, he doesn't seem to learn from his past errors.
