Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher released by the Minnesota Twins
Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Richard Lovelady looks like he is a free agent once again after being released by Minnesota Twins.
Lovelady was acquired by the Blue Jays in free agency as they signed him to a minor league deal but did not last long as they decided to released him within the first few weeks of the season.

The Twins agreed to a minor league contract in April with the Twins and was assigned to their Triple-A affiliate, the St-Paul Saint where he has been dominating ever since.

Lovelady from his contract after he wanted to opt-out, re-enter free agency and look for a new contract that would possibility give him another chance at the MLB.

Lovelady actually put up some incredible numbers in Triple-A for the Saints over the last two month as he had a 1.31 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 20.2 innings pitched.
Richard Lovelady is opting out of his contract with the Minnesota Twins and is now a free agent. He posted a 1.31 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 20.2 innings in Triple-A.
The former Blue Jays pitcher will certainly be able to find himself a new deal with the numbers he has been putting up and hopefully with a team that will give him another chance in the MLB.
