'Focus on yourself' : Max Scherzer delivers strong message to his teammates before final stretch
Max Scherzer certainly has the most playoff experience on the Toronto Blue Jays which is certainly part of the reason Ross Atkins brought him in during the off-season.
While Scherzer has been dealing with some injury troubles lately due to a back tightness issue, he will surely be a part of the team in the playoffs even if he weren't to pitch a single game.
Max Scherzer sends a strong message to his teammates
Scherzer recently spoke with reporters about how he feels about his teammates and there chances in the final stretch of the season with a very tight AL East race.
The Blue Jays veteran pitcher added that he love's the team and the mentality and knows that everyone believes in each other which will go a long way in the playoffs.

Scherzer also added what he believes the team's needs to do to remain successful for the rest of the season which involves every player focusing on their own game and not to focus on the scoreboard, just the road ahead.

Hopefully the younger players are listening to everything he has to say and it will make a big difference come October.
