Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt has been dealing with a forearm injury lately but manager John Schneider said X-Rays came back negative.

Bassit was on the mound for the Jays yesterday following the negative X-rays and it seems like Schneider and the training staff checked on Bassitt every inning to make sure he was alright.

On allowing Bassitt to stay in the game.

Clearly Bassitt might have some sort of issue but not a big enough one to keep from pitching a great game as he finishing with 8 strikeouts and 0 earned runs through 6 innings pitched in the 9-3 wins over the Yankees.
