Insider Rob Wong revealed a shocking reports regarding Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins involving contract extensions.
According to Wong, Atkins and Shapiro have only given long term extensions to two players during their time with the Blue Jays, Jose Berrios and Randal Grichuk.
It's pretty wild that in this era of Shapiro/Atkins, the only players to receive long-term extensions are Randal Grichuk and Jose Berrios.
This is worrying information for most fans since Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero are both set to receive extensions soon and with Atkins dealing with it, fans are worried he will mess it up, causing them to walk away.
