'It was for Vlaimel' : Vladimir Guerrero Jr opens up about staying in Toronto because of his daughter
Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr recently sat down with Keegan Matheson to speak on his daughter Vlaimel Guerrero and the reason he re-signed n Toronto.
Guerrero had a rough start to the season after signing his historic contract extension but has since turned things around in a major way as even fans have noticed how well he has been playing.

During a recent interview with Matheson, Guerrero opened up about his life at home with his daughter and how much she truly means to him to the point where he signed a contract extension because of her.
Guerrero stated that Vlaimel loves the city of Toronto, the fans and being around the stadium which is apparently a big reason for why he signed his extension with the Blue Jays.
«One of the main reasons that I signed my contract in Toronto, it was for Vlaimel,» Guerrero says now. «Of course, it was for my entire family, but she loves the city. She loves it. She loves the fans. She's always happy to be around [the stadium], and she's always happy there. She's one of the main reasons that I'm here in Toronto.» -Guerrero
During the interview Guerrero spoke of how respectful fans in Toronto are when they seat him out in public which is something he stated to be extremely grateful for.
«The thing I always say about the fans in Toronto is that they are very respectful. They're respectful fans,» Guerrero says. «For example, when I go out for dinner, they see me, but they wait. They'll wait for me to finish what I'm doing in the restaurant, so I get to finish my dinner. They'll wait for me, then they'll come to me, and they always say please. That's very important to me, that respect they show me, and of course I'll always give the same back to them.» -Guerrero
Guerrero gave a great insight into his life of the field during this interview showing fans that he is more than just a baseball player which sometimes fans forget about.
Clearly the entire Guerrero family is happy in Toronto which is good because they still have another 15 years there.
