Jansen discloses the disrespectful way he found out he was traded

The Blue Jays announced breaking news during their game yesterday that beloved catcher Danny Jansen had been traded to the Red Sox.
After the game, news broke that Jansen found out on the clubhouse TV that he had been dealt which is quite disrespectful on GM Ross Atkins' part toward the Jays longest active member.
Danny Jansen learned he was traded from a clubhouse TV after coming off the field today:
"It's a lot of mixed emotions. ... Definitely excited. But I grew up [with the Blue Jays.] I became a man here. Raised a family. They've been here a lot. So, it's a whole lot of emotions."

While being traded is part of the game, fans were expecting management to have given Jansen some kind of heads up going into the game that they were closing in on a trade.
