The Toronto Blue Jays apparently have some seriously big moves in the works and it looks like rookie Alan Roden is part of one of those deals.
The
Blue Jays are clearly buyers at the trade deadline but they will also have to move some players as they are only looking to trade for big pieces which will cost them.
Blue Jays will likely trade Alan Roden as he has been scratched in back to back games with the Buffalo Bisons
As the deadline approaches, many know that Toronto will have to move on from at least one if not more of their younger players and it looks like
Roden is one of them according to reports.
The Bisons have scratched Roden in back to back games with no sign of injury which is pointing towards him getting dealt in the next day or so.
Surely Alan Roden doesn't miss two straight games for no reason
It looks like Roden is not the only player that has been surprisingly scratched as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats have left fielder Victor Arias scratched from their lineup as well.
Victor Arias AND Alan Roden not starting today
There has been no injury update on either player which is why it seems clear that the Blue Jays currently have them involved in a few deals which is why both of their time with the Blue Jays organization seems to be coming to an end.
When it comes to Roden, he is clearly one of the Blue Jays top young players but if they are able to land a player that could help the team right now, it is clear that they need to make that move.
