Matt Chapman tells reporters that the Blue Jays made him an offer

Former Blue Jays player Matt Chapman just signed a massive 6 year $151 million extension with the Giants.
According to reports, when Chapman was still on the Blue Jays they offered him a four year extension worth over $100 million but he refused it which is what led to him being traded.
Matt Chapman reportedly passed on a four- or five-year extension offer of over $100mil from the #BlueJays. For anyone who thought he might return to Toronto, that was never going to happen.
Chapman recently stated how he was not happy in Toronto during an interview which is why this update of him refusing an extension makes sense.
