It may not be a good thing for the Toronto Blue Jays organization as a whole, but the Vancouver Canadians of Single-A have clinched their 3rd consecutive postseason spot, as they will be the only MiLB affiliate playing playoff baseball this year.

On Thursday, the Vancouver Canadians clinched a ticket to the Northwest League Championship Series for the third consecutive year. Moreover, two other teams picked up a win on Thursday.

Time to defend the NWL Championship!

They clinched their spot in dramatic fashion yesterday with a walk of win over Eugene Emeralds. Adrian Pinto grounded out in to what seemed to be a forsure double play, But as the Emeralds threw out the runner at home, the throw to first base was bobbled allowing Jamari Baylor to score and clinch a playoff spot.
