The Toronto Blue Jays had a dominant win over the Texas Rangers 14-2, due in large part to two home runs from Myles Straw who capped it off with a bat flip to cement the deep ball and after the game spoke on his love for the city of Toronto.

Sine being traded for in the off-season and arriving in Toronto, Straw has made it clear that he loves it in Toronto and playing for the Blue Jays.

Myles Straw speaks on his love for Toronto after career game

David Singh of Sportsnet spoke on the 14-2 thrashing the Blue Jays had over the Rangers. While the win was a team effort, a lot of the credit can be attributed to Myles Straw who went yard twice Saturday afternoon.
"It was the first multi-homer game of Straw's eight-year career. His four home runs in 2025 have matched his career high, set in 2021, and on Saturday alone, the outfielder's big swings accounted for 20 per cent of his career total."-Singh

While his two homers were impressive his bat flipping skills could use some work according to Schneider.
«Yeah, it could be better,» -Schneider

After the game, Straw spoke on how grateful he is to be in Toronto stating that he does not take a single day for granted and has been enjoying every minute of it.
«It's a blessing to be here every single day,» -Straw

«I talk to guys about just how special this team is and how great the city is and just the whole setup we got. It's been a blast here. I love this place. I love the people here. I love everything about it, honestly. You don't take a day for granted here.» -Straw

An interesting thing to note was that Straw decided to switch out his torpedo bat for a longer and thinner bat. Maybe this equipment change could lead to more impressive offensive production.
"The 30-year-old Straw entered Saturday having produced 1.8 wins above replacement this season - for context, that's more than Teoscar Hernandez (1.5) and Jose Altuve (1.1). "-Singh

The performance by Straw just goes to show how deep this roster goes. The sky is the limit for the AL East leaders and maybe this is the team to bring the World Series north of the border.
