Orelvis Martinez is rewarded for his amazing play lately

Blue Jays prospect Orelvis Martinez has been on fire lately and was rewarded for his great play this week as he was named for the MiLB prospect team of the week.

Martinez has been unstopbale in Triple-A for the Bisons this season as he has 5 homeruns and 13 RBIs this week alone.

The 22 year-old has been a key part of the Bisons offense so far this season as he 20 runs, 24 hits and 18 RBIs in 72 at bats this season. To add to that, he currently has a .333 batting average while also having a .392 on base percentage.

Martinez has been incredible and is well deserving off a call up to Toronto, the issue being who's place would he take as the team is currently healthy and playing very well.

Regardless if he gets called up soon or not, once thing is for certain, Martinez is set to have a solid professional baseball career if he keeps playing like this.
