Blue Jays top prospect Arjun Nimmala receives incredible award this week
Nimmala is arguably the Blue Jays top prospect as many have stated that he will one day be a great MLB player to the point where even Francisco Lindor has made some great comments about the young player.
For now, the 19-year-old from Florida is playing for the Vancouver Canadians in the Northwest League. But, from the start of the season he's been one of the league's most dominant hitters. -Postins
The young Blue Jays slugger received an impressive award this week in High-A ball as he was given the Northwest player of the week award for how he played between May 19th and 25th.
On Monday, the Northwest League named Nimmala its player of the week for action between May 19-25. This is Nimmala's first player of the week award this season and the second league award of his professional career. -Postins
Last week, Nimmala went 9 for 25 at the plate for a .360 batting average with a double, triple and two homeruns to go along with six runs, six RBIs and two steals all in 6 games played.

Since Nimmala is only 19 years old, there is a solid chance he does not see the MLB this season but there is a good chance that if he continues to play like this he will receive at least a promotion to Double-A.
The Blue Jays might have a real future superstar on their hands if he continues to develop at this rate.
