The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for at least one starting pitcher this off-season and could be interested in star free agent Corbin Burnes who's projected contract has been announced.
Burnes is coming off an incredible season with the Baltimore Orioles with a 15-9 record to go along with a 2.92 ERA and 181 strikeouts which is why he will certainly be getting a massive contract in free agency.

Burnes is coming off an incredible season and will likely sign a massive contract which most insiders believe will be on a 5 year term paying him between $25-35 million per season.
His upcoming contract is expected to be substantial: estimates suggest he could command $25 million annually over five years, although others predict four years at $35 million per year. -BVM
While Burnes is clearly an outstanding pitcher, insiders believe that the one concern with his game is his recent decline in strikeout rate which has gone from 35.1% to 23.1% over the last 4 years.

While there are some risks surrounding Burners, most free agents come with a certain risk to reward ratio and the Blue Jays will just have to decide if Burnes is worth the risk.
