Report: Blue Jays don't plan on re-calling Anthony Santander per John Schneider
The Toronto Blue Jays gave quite the update on outfielder Anthony Santander this afternoon ahead of their matchup against the Boston Red Sox.
The last update given by the Blue Jays on Santander stated that he would be finishing the Triple-A season in Buffalo before being called up to the Blue Jays lineup.

The Bisons season officially ended a couple days ago and as such Santander made his way back to Toronto as he is ccurently with the team now but many were curious when the lineup was announced and he was not in it.

Before the game tonight, Schneider spoke to the media and told reporters that Santander has told the team he is ready to play but they are apparently not ready to bring him back for right now.

It looks like the Blue Jays are not ready to bring him back just yet as that would force them to drop a player on the 40 man roster at a time where the team is meshing well together.
It will be interesting to see how the Blue Jays end up going through with all of this in the final week of the season.
