Report: Latest update has Alek Manoah return to the lineup after all

Alex Manoah's MLB career has been anything but smooth sailing so far, but the Toronto Blue Jays pitcher could be eyeing a comeback as he is rehabbing from a injury.
A few days ago the Blue jays announced a roster move that they would be extending Manoah's rehab assignment by 10 days which they can still do two more times.
Alex Manoah could gearing up for MLB comeback
Sportsnet recently reported on Alex Manoah's impressive performances as of late might result in a return to the Blue Jays sooner than expected.
"Alek Manoah kept trending in the right direction with triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday night. The right-hander was tagged for three unearned runs over 5.1 innings while recording five strikeouts and two walks, facing the Pittsburgh Pirates' triple-A affiliate."-Sportsnet
Manoah has been recovering from UCL reconstruction surgery back in 2024 and has appeared in three outings for the Bisons this season so far. His latest performance was very encouraging with only small signs of concern

Manoah recorded three strikeouts in the inning, but the leadoff man reached via error and Cam Devanney was plunked by a 2-1 sinker before Flores sent a first-pitch fastball over the left-field wall.-Sportsnet
This game fed off of a good performance last week as well, we can see it building one game at a time.

Manoah has had anything but a stable career. The veteran pitcher was up for CY Young award in 2022, and it went completely the other way in 2023 where he was in between the majors and minors as he struggled with consistency.
"Since his dominant 2022 season, Manoah has thrown only 111.2 innings for the Blue Jays, holding a 5.40 ERA."-Sportsnet
There is no guarantee if or when Manoah will be back with the Blue Jays, and if he does rejoin the club will he be consistent enough to stay there. His recent form suggests he is almost ready for the big leagues again, and can maybe show glimpses of his 2022 glory.
