Roster update: Toronto Blue Jays scratch multiple players vs Twins due to injuries

During last night's loss, both Kirk and Clement suffered some minors injuries that they were able to play through as both players seemed to have hurt their hand.

Both Kirk and Clement seemed to have injured their hand against the Twins last night but after no details were mentions regarding either injury after the game it looked like nothing serious.

The Blue Jays announced their lineup for tonight's game and both players are not in it for the final game of the series.

Tyler Heineman will be filling in for Kirk at catcher as Addison Barger will be playing third base to replace Clement.

The Blue Jays have yet to comment on the significance of the injuries which hopefully means that they are both alright and just taken the day off to be cautious.

Toronto has failed to stay healthy this season but that has not stopped them from winning as they currently lead the American League East by 4 games ahead of the Boston Red Sox.

These two injuries can end up being very costly for the Blue Jays but hopefully it is nothing serious as the team will likely provide more details if it is.
