The Blue Jays announced that Jordan Romano's doctors appointment today went quite poorly as his injury ended up needing surgery.
Romano had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow to fix an impingement and will now not be able to throw for at least 6 weeks.

Still TBD on whether he can return this season.
