Shane Bieber speaks openly after Blue Jays loss to the Brewers
The Toronto Blue Jays loss last night to the Milwaukee Brewers and after the game Shane Bieber voiced his frustration regarding his first game at the Rogers Centre.
Bieber's first game back from injury with the Blue Jays was an incredible performance against the Miami Marlins which he was trying to follow up on last night against the Brewers.
Blue Jays Shane Bieber disappointed in himself after loss to the Brewers
Bieber had another impressive game for the Blue Jays last night despite the 7-2 loss as he pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and only 1 earned run with 6 strikeouts on a total of 92 pitches.
The Brewers lineup worked him deep into counts, but still a very solid Rogers Centre debut for Shane Bieber
After the game, Bieber stated that he was frustrated with a few aspects of his performance but added that it is a privilege to be frustrated again and is happy to take the good with the bad.
Shane Bieber was still self-critical of a few things, but says that «everything is progress»:
«There's some frustration. I could have finished stronger, but it's a privilege to be frustrated again. Happy to take the good with the bad and move forward.» #BlueJays

Clearly Bieber expects a lot from himself as last night's loss was clearly not on him as he left the game with a 1-0 score which the Blue Jays bullpen let get out of hand.
Bieber leaves with a 1-0 deficit and they need 2 PITCHERS to get 3 outs and they give up the game right there. If this is how it's gonna be in the playoffs it's gonna be another 48 hour playoff run.
The Blue Jays clearly need to figure something out with their bullpen right now as even Louis Varland has been having an extremely rough time on the mound lately.
