Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho made his first appearance in a Spring Training game this afternoon and an incredible moment took place.
Varsho was put on as the designated hitter for today's game as the team wanted him to continue his recovery process but did not want to risk him in the field just yet as he is not there.

The Blue Jays took on the Detroit Tigers this afternoon with both Anthony Santander and Daulton Varsho making their first appearances of the Grapefruit League season which had fans quite excited.
This was Varsho's first game back since surgery and took no time to get readjusted as he belted a homerun on the first pitch he saw to give the Blue Jays a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
Daulton Varsho, in his first at-bat of Spring Training, just launched a home run.

An absolutely incredible moment for Varsho as he seems to be on the right path to being ready for the start of the season which many doubted he would be ready for in the off-season.
Now only was Varsho's homerun incredible but Vladimir Guerrero was up next at the plate and hit a homerun as well to give the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead over the Tigers.
