Bowden Francis was trying to throw the Blue Jays 2nd no-hitter in organization history yesterday against the New York Mets but it was not meant to be.
-
It feels like groundhog day for Bowden Francis as he took his 2nd career no-hitter into the 9th inning and was unable to finish the job as he gave up a home run to Franciso Lindor to break it up.
-
In an incredible feat, 4 of Francis' last 6 starts he has only given up 1 run, and if you have been following the Blue Jays for the last few weeks, it is not news that Bowden Francis has been in fire.
Just a few weeks ago, the same exact outcome occurred when Bowden Francis took a no-hitter into the 9th inning against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim when he gave up a home run to Taylor Ward which broke it it up.

We feel for Francis, but we here at Blue Jays Insider have no doubt he will get it someday soon.
Do you feel bad Francis?
