The Toronto Blue Jays announced moments ago that outfielder Anthony Santander will not play tonight against the Seattle Mariners due to an injury.
The Blue Jays have been extremely unlucky with injuries so far this season as they have a ton on players currently on IL and now one of their best players has fallen to an injury as well.

The Blue Jays take on the Mariners tonight as they look to win and get the series win after winning last night but it looks like Anthony Santander will be out of the lineup once again.
Santander took a nasty fall against the Los Angeles Angels earlier this week and has now been listed as day to day as he is dealing with a shoulder injury that they do not want to risk.

According to manager John Schneider, the Blue Jays are not playing again because of his left shoulder being cranky and they want to be careful, not making it worse than it already is.
«Cranky left shoulder a little bit sore, so we want to be careful,» John Schneider said. Could be available off bench later.

Hopefully Santander is not out too long and these missed games are only a precaution because the Blue Jays cannot afford to have another valuable player out with an injury.
