The Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider announced this afternoon that pitcher Max Scherzer has gone down with an injury and will not pitch on Thursday.
Scherzer has been off to an incredible start so far in Spring Training as he has dominated every time he has taken the mound but recently stated that he is not that impressed since it is still just Spring Training.

When the Blue Jays signed Scherzer earlier this off-season many were worried regarding the move since Scherzer has battled a lot of injuries over the past two seasons but didn't not seem to affected so far in camp as he has looked great.
MLB reporter Arden Zwelling announced that he spoke with manager John Schneider this afternoon and that Scherzer will be out of the lineup for Thursday's game which he was suppose to pitch due to a right thumb injury.

Schneider added that they are simply being extra careful by taking him out but at the same time they are not certain what the issue is which is details are expected to come out in the next few days on the severity of the issue.
Fans are already online hoping that Scherzer is fine as he has been incredible so far for Toronto and everyone is hoping they will have him back and healthy for the start of the season.

Hopefully this is only just the team being careful due to Scherzer's past but fans will have to wait until thee team gives more details to fully know how bad it is.
