The New York Mets are set to sign this former Toronto Blue Jays fan favorite, Jackie Bradley Jr. to a minor league deal.

It was just announced on the Talkin' Baseball podcast that the Mets have signed Jackie Bradley Jr. to a minor league deal after having an amazing season in independent pro ball with the Long Island Ducks.

He had a 1.204 OPS on the Long Island Ducks this season

At the 34-years-old, Bradley Jr., spent the earlier parts of this summer playing for the independent pro ball team the Long Island Ducks. He had a slash line of .400/.476/.727 in 40 games.

He will try to earn his way back to the MLB most likely playing for the Mets Triple-A affiliate.
