The Seattle Mariners announce starters for game 3 and 4 against the Blue Jays
The Seattle Mariners just announced their starters for game 3 and 4 which will not make it easy on the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays announced a couple days ago that they would have Shane Bieber pitching in game 3 followed by a possibility of Max Scherzer pitching to some extent in game 4.
Mariners don't hold back with starters for games 3 and 4
The Mariners sent out Logan Gilbert for game 3 this afternoon and he did not have the best of outings as he was pulled after only 3 innings but once the bullpen took over, the Blue Jays only managed to get one single hit the rest of the game.
Ahead of game 2, the Mariners announced that they would continue to put out their best product as they will have George Kirby on the mound for game 3 followed by Luis Castillo for game 4.

Game 3 - George Kirby
Game 4 - Luis Castillo
Game 3 - George Kirby
Game 4 - Luis Castillo
For game 3 it looks like it will be Bieber against Kirby which should be a great matchup but the matchup is still not confirmed for game 4 since Scherzer is not fully confirmed as the starter yet.
ALCS Game 3 on Wednesday in Seattle will be Shane Bieber vs. George Kirby.
Luis Castillo is scheduled to start for the Mariners in Game 4. Blue Jays haven't named a starter but Max Scherzer threw a bullpen on Monday that would line him up for that game.
This will certainly not be an easy two games for the Blue Jays as both these Mariners pitchers had an ERA under 4.00 this season but as they have showed just last series, their offense can dominate even the best of pitchers when everyone is playing well.
