The Toronto Blue Jays have quite the list of injured players but manager John Schneider gave quite the update on multiple players including Bo Bichette, Max Scherzer and Tyler Heineman.

Bichette has been coming off the bench for the past two games due to lower back soreness that the Blue Jays have been trying to be extra careful with but that did not stop him from pinch hitting last night and winning the game for Toronto.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider gives injury update on Bo Bichette, Max Scherzer and Tyler Heineman

Prior to the Blue Jays first game of the series against the Athletics, Schneider told reporters that Bichette is doing a lot better but did not confirm if he will be in the lineup tonight.
Schneider also stated that Ryan Burr received an injection in his shoulder and has been shut down, Heineman could be back by this weekend and Erik Swanson will be pitching in Buffalo tonight.
More Jays notes:
• Bichette doing much better per John Schneider
• Ryan Burr had an injection in his shoulder & will be shut down from throwing for at least a few days
• Heineman progressing & could be activated this wknd
• Erik Swanson pitching at AAA tonight. Maybe MLB next
According to multiple reports, Scherzer is also set to face live hitters tomorrow at the Rogers Centre and they will see how that goes before deciding on what the next step will be.
Max Scherzer will throw live BP to a few #BlueJays hitters tomorrow at Rogers Centre.

This puts him back close to the stage he was at before his rehab stalled the last time. A couple of these sessions should lead to a rehab assignment, but... Baby steps.
Max Scherzer will throw a live BP in Toronto at Rogers Centre tomorrow. 20-25 pitched. Likely a couple live BPs before determining next steps.

This is all very positive news for the Blue Jays would could only benefit from getting all of these players back.
