The Toronto Blue Jays announce major injury updates for Bo Bichette, Max Scherzer and Tyler Heineman
The Toronto Blue Jays have quite the list of injured players but manager John Schneider gave quite the update on multiple players including Bo Bichette, Max Scherzer and Tyler Heineman.

Prior to the Blue Jays first game of the series against the Athletics, Schneider told reporters that Bichette is doing a lot better but did not confirm if he will be in the lineup tonight.
Schneider also stated that Ryan Burr received an injection in his shoulder and has been shut down, Heineman could be back by this weekend and Erik Swanson will be pitching in Buffalo tonight.

According to multiple reports,
Scherzer is also set to face live hitters tomorrow at the Rogers Centre and they will see how that goes before deciding on what the next step will be.

This puts him back close to the stage he was at before his rehab stalled the last time. A couple of these sessions should lead to a rehab assignment, but... Baby steps.
