Toronto Blue Jays all-star shortstop Bo Bichette has been dealing with lower back soreness for the past few days and is still uncertain to be starting against the Athletics.
Bichette has been coming off the bench for the last two games after manager John Schneider revealed that he has been dealing with lower back soreness and the team is trying to be extra careful.
Injury update regarding Bo Bichette heading into series against the Athletics
Bichette was supposed to have a day off yesterday but the Blue Jays ended up using him as a pinch hitter which was a genius move for them as he hit a two run homerun in the ninth to win the game for Toronto.
Bo Bichette's pinch-hit two-run homer in the ninth gave the Blue Jays a 2-0 win, and two of three over the Rangers in a series where the teams combined for six runs in three games.

Since Schneider stated that Toronto is trying to be extremely careful with Bichette's current back injury, despite coming up huge for Toronto last night, there is a good chance that they keep him out of the lineup for the first game against the Athletics.
