The Toronto Blue Jays announced some massive news this afternoon as top prospect Trey Yesavage has received another promotion as he is now headed to Double-A in New Hampshire.
The Blue Jays clearly made an incredible move by taking Yesavage in the first round of the 2024 MLB draft as he has been on fire in the minors since beginning in Dunedin a few months ago.

Yesavage started off the season in Dunedin in which he dominated Single-A in which led to a quick promotion in May to High-A with the Vancouver Canadians where he once again dominated.
Now the Blue Jays announced this afternoon that Yesavage has been promoted once again and is headed to New Hampshire and will likely be making his first start later this week.

He dominated A-ball levels and now gets roughly half the season to face better competition.

Yesavage deserved to be called up a he had a 2.13 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched in A ball with 88 strikeouts in that time and only 19 walks which are crazy numbers.

Will now face upper minors competition less than a year after being drafted
At this rate, there is a good chance that Yesavage ends the season in Triple-A with the Buffalo Bisons and might have a real chance at making the Blue Jays next season out of camp.
