The Toronto Blue Jays announce positive update on injured outfielder
The Toronto Blue Jays cannot catch a break when it comes to injuries this season but it looks like outfielder Myles Straw might be in better shape than expected after hurting his ankle against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Blue Jays saw both Jonatan Clase and Myles Straw go down on Tuesday night in the ninth inning which had many worried that both would be headed to IL but it looks like the news is not so bad after all.

Straw came in for Clase who hurt his knee against the Diamondbacks and ended up having a scary collision with the wall, hurting his ankle which resulted in him leaving the game as well.

Despite news that Straw might see some time on the IL, it looks like he is feeling much better this afternoon according to manager John Schneider and should be able to avoid an IL stint.
