The Toronto Blue Jays announce results of Daulton Varsho's MRI along with multiple roster moves
The Toronto Blue Jays announced quite a few roster moves this morning as they got the results back from Daulton Varsho, calling up Davis Schneider as his replacement and optioning Easton Lucas.
Late last night, it was announced that Davis Schneider was on his way back to the Blue Jays after Varsho went down but it has finally been officially announced by the team this morning.
Blue Jays announce results on Daulton Varsho's MRI plus a string of roster moves
Prior to the Blue Jays game against The Athletics this afternoon, the team announced that after Varsho's MRI, they confirm that he has a left hamstring strain and has now been placed on 10 day IL.
To replace Varsho, the Blue Jays have called up Schneider while also optioning Easton Lucas back to the Buffalo Bisons and activating Erik Swanson off the injured list.

The most surprising part of all of this is that Lucas has been optioned after having a great performance on the mound yesterday against the Athletics.
For Varsho, it seems like good news as the injury was nothing major and hopefully he will be back in the lineup in a couple weeks.
