The Toronto Blue Jays are in a tough spot with pitcher Max Scherzer as he is still dealing with his thumb injury and manager John Schneider recently spoke on the team's plan for him moving forward.
Scherzer spoke to the media this morning about his injury stating that it is hurting him a lot more than the team originally let on and that he is currently working on trying to find a solution.

The Blue Jays announced a few days ago that Scherzer has been dealing with a thumb injury that has to do with his thumb on his throwing hand and that it looks to be an issue that he has dealt with in the past.
Manager John Schneider stated that the plan in to have Scherzer pitch in the minor leagues over the next day or so to see how he is feeling and from there they will decide what the plan is.
Tomorrow and the next day will be big for Max Scherzer, who says this thumb issue flares up in his recovery.

Since Scherzer's thumb has been hurting him quite a bit lately, there are some worries because this injury could lead to shoulder injuries if he tries to pitch through the pain.
Scherzer pitched this morning in the minor leagues and according to reports the next step will be seeing how much pain he is in tomorrow before deciding when they will test him out in a game.
