The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have another outfielder that has gone down with an injury, this time it is rookie Alan Roden.

Blue Jays announce injury update on outfielder Alan Roden
The Blue Jays originally had named
Roden to the lineup in left field for yesterday afternoon's game but a few hour later they announce that he had been removed from the lineup with right knee inflammation.
UPDATE: OF Alan Roden has been removed from today's starting lineup with right knee inflammation.
After the game, manager John Schneider stated that Roden is considered day to day and is in good enough shape that he would have been available off the bench yesterday if there was an emergency.
Alan Roden described as day to day by manager John Schneider. Would have been available off the bench in an emergency today.
This is rough timing for the Blue Jays who already have multiple outfielders out with injuries including Daulton Varsho, Anthony Santander and Myles Straw since Jonatan Clase came back.
While Schneider stated that
Roden is day to day, since it is a knee injury, it's a sensitive area that could end up being a lot worse than originally assumed.
Hopefully Roden is able to get back into the lineup soon as the Blue Jays outfield needs all the help it can get right now with all of their injured players.
