Loperfido's left the game against the Cardinals with a neck contusion which looked to possibly be serious but after the game they announced that he had no consussion symptoms and should be back to practicing soon.
Loperfido was injured when he collided with the wall while trying to make a catch in Tuesday's game against the Cardinals. He was removed from the game but has no concussion symptoms, Schneider said. Loperfido is expected to resume his workouts on Thursday. -Sportsnet
The young Blue Jays outfielder has now returned to practice after taking the day off yesterday and looks like he could return to the field as early as tomorrow against the Detroit Tigers.
Both players could return to spring training action on Friday when the Blue Jays play the Tigers and Yankees in split-squad action. -Sportsnet
Loperfido was back on the field this morning for batting practice and looked to be in solid shape which is why he is expected to be to likely be in the lineup tomorrow against the Tigers or the following game against the New York Yankees.
