The Blue Jays have apparently made an offer to free agent Alex Bregman according to Hector Gomez
The Blue Jays have been linked to Bregman for quite some time now as the Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers seem to be the top two teams to land Bregman this off-season.
According to MLB insider Hector Gomez, he stated that the Blue Jays have apparently made an offer to Bregman but there has been no confirmation on the amount offered.
What I'm hearing from the #BlueJays:
- They have an offer out to third baseman Alex Bregman.
- Their interest is very real in Pete Alonso.
- The #Mets did call about Vladdy Jr. but the Jays have not interest in making any move with Vladdy Jr. involved.

Bregman is apparently looking for a $200 million offer but not team seems willing to go that high but it looks like the Blue Jays offer might be just slightly below that.
There were rumors that certain players such as Jack Flaherty and Anthony Santander were willing to take a short term deal, according to Ken Rosenthal
Bregman is not willing to take one of those deals.
The Blue Jays seem to be heavily involved in the free agent market right now as they are looking at multiple players such as Roki Sasaki and Anthony Santander but a deal have yet to be reached.
