The Toronto Blue Jays announced this afternoon that they have placed RHP Angel Bastardo on the 60 day IL as he has underwent Tommy John surgery and they needed to make room on their roster for Dillon Tate.
The Blue Jays announced that they have officially signed Tate to a one year, $1.4 million contract after he passed his physical and that his contract will include $50K in bonuses after games 45 and 50.
