The Blue Jays picked Martin in the 16th round of last year's draft and to say he is surpassing expectations is putting it lightly as he current has a 33.3K% across 22.2 innings pitched with a fastball clocking in over 96 MPH.
Colby Martin gets the promotion to Vancouver. He's posted a 1.61 ERA and 33.3 K% over 22.2 innings so far this season with Dunedin.

Last year's 16th-round pick sits just below 97 with his fastball and the offering can touch triple digits. Another nice development story in 2025.
Clearly this was a great late round pick for the Blue Jays who took a chance on the young pitcher and are already seeing great things from him which has led to this early promotion to High-A.
Should be interesting to see how he does in his first appearance in High-A ball.
