Today, The Toronto Blue Jays have signed Jamari Baylor, a 23-year-old shortstop who was drafted in the 3rd round by the Phillies in 2019. He has been assigned to the Vancouver Canadians, the Blue Jays High-A minor league affiliate.

After bouncing around the Phillies minor league system, this season, Jamari Baylor has found himself playing Independent professional baseball for the York Revolution in the Atlantic League.
This season the 23-year-old prospect is hitting .255 with 3 home runs, 12 RBI's in 58 plate appearances.
He has a great arm at shortstop but can play anywhere in the infield. His versatility and and speed makes him a great player to develop.
