This is a massive deal for the Blue Jays as adding Jeff Hoffman to their bullpen has now taken them from one of the worst bullpens in baseball to one of the top ones in the league.
While Hoffman has not been a starting pitcher since 2019 there are rumors that he might end up as a starting pitcher for the Blue Jays next season depending on if they do not end up signing one this winter.
