The Toronto Blue Jays Max Scherzer confirms which day he will start against the Cleveland Guardians

The Toronto Blue Jays are finally getting starting pitcher Max Scherzer back in the lineup as he confirms when he will be making his first start.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider stated that durign an interview yesterday that if everything went well with Scherzer's bullpen session this morning, that he would take the mound against the Guardians.

Scherzer only pitched 3 innings for the Blue Jays this season before being taken out due to a thumb injury and has been on IL ever since as he has been slowly recovering from the painful injury.
During an interview with Hazel Mae this morning, Scherzer stated that his bullpen session went well and that he confirmed he will be starting for the Blue Jays on Wednesday against the Guardians.

Max Scherzer (thumb, back) will start for the Blue Jays on Wednesday.
This is massive news for the Blue Jays who will finally get Scherzer back after a long road to recovery and it comes at the perfect time as Bowden Francis was recently placed on IL.
While Scherzer does not seem too confident in his thumb, he seems to believe that the only way to find out if it is fully healed is to get back out there.
Fans in Toronto will finally get to cheer on the legend on Wednesday.
