The Toronto Blue Jays struggles over the last two weeks have caused quite the tight race for the American League East division title.
The biggest problems for the Blue Jays lately has been their offense which has slowed down quite a bit to the point where even manager John Schneider made a point of stating it to the media.
How the Blue Jays can clinch the division
The Blue Jays beat the Rays last night 4-2 but are still tied with the New York Yankees for first place in the division and will need a few things to go their way if they want to clinch the title.
The Blue Jays need to win tomorrow and the Yankees need to lose to the Baltimore Orioles in order for them to officially clinch the division.

The Blue Jays currently hold the tie breaker which means the Yankees need to surpass them if they to clinch the division which is why they need to win against the Orioles today to keep their hopes alive.

Top prospect Trey Yesavage has a chance to be the hero today against the Tampa Bay Rays as he will be taking the mound and a win combined with a Yankees loss could end up being the division.

While this is not an ideal situation for the Blue Jays, it is also good for them as it prepares them for the playoffs as every game right now counts and is very important.
It will be interesting to see who ends up taking the division over the next two days.
