The Toronto Blue Jays are expected to to take a look at the trade market and many expect that Jose Berrios will be used as trade bait.
The Blue Jays have been rumored to be interested in looking at possible possible trades involving a couple of their pitchers including Bowden Francis, Eric Lauer and Berrios.

Berrios has been a very reliable starter for the Blue Jays over the last few years as he has had an ERA around 4.00 or below since 2022 which is why he still holds trade value.
While Berrios has been very solid and reliable for the Blue Jays, it seems that they simply no longer have room for him and would benefit from bringing in a left handed starter instead of holding onto him.
