The Toronto Blue Jays are expected to to take a look at the trade market and many expect that Jose Berrios will be used as trade bait.
The Blue Jays have been rumored to be interested in looking at possible possible trades involving a couple of their pitchers including Bowden Francis, Eric Lauer and Berrios.
Jose Berrios seems to be the Blue Jays main trade asset as of right now
Keegan Matheson was on the MLB Network yesterday and spoke of the Berrios situation stating that there is a good chance that he is moved by the end of the Winter Meetings.

Fans over the last 24 hours have been wondering how big of a return the Blue Jays can get for Berrios if he was traded which many believe will not be too big because of the size of his contract.
After signing two starting pitchers, Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce, speculation has began to swirl that Jose Berrios could be on the move this offseason

Berrios has been a very reliable starter for the Blue Jays over the last few years as he has had an ERA around 4.00 or below since 2022 which is why he still holds trade value.
While Berrios has been very solid and reliable for the Blue Jays, it seems that they simply no longer have room for him and would benefit from bringing in a left handed starter instead of holding onto him.
