The Blue Jays have been dealing with a long list of injuries this season as there have been very few players on the roster that have yet to miss a game due to an injury in 2025.
Blue Jays pull Addison Barger from the lineup due to an injury
The Blue Jays take on the White Sox this afternoon as they look to bounce back after a brutal 7-1 loss yesterday in Spencer Turnbull's first appearance with the team.
Moments ago, the Blue Jays announced that Barger who was originally in the lineup was removed due to right hip discomfort and has been replaced by Davis Schneider.
UPDATE: OF Addison Barger was removed from today's starting lineup with right hip discomfort.
Despite being scratched it looks like Barger will be available off the bench according to manager John Schneider which hopefully means that this injury is nothing too serious.
Addison Barger scratched from Blue Jays lineup with right hip soreness, said John Schneider. He's getting treatment, unclear if he's available off bench.
Max Scherzer will throw a side tomorrow instead of today, still eying one of the three games in Cleveland, said Schneider
Barger has been one of the Blue Jays best hitters lately which is why everyone is hoping that this injury is nothing serious as they need him for the second part of the season.
Despite Schneider struggling lately, hopefully he will be able to somewhat fill Barger's shoes this afternoon.
